The Foundation is proud to be a part of Intel’s first coalition of partners for the Middle School Girls’ Initiative. This $1 million investment is a collective action to empower, excite, encourage, and engage middle school girls from disenfranchised communities in Arizona as part of the Intel® She Will Connect program. This collaboration is key to meet the challenges these girls face and help fulfill the Intel® She Will Connect mission, specifically in their goal of inspiring United States middle school girls to become technology creators and innovators.  In support of Tec for Girls, STEM students from Phoenix College students and ASU go into the local middle schools to lead “clubs” in which the girls participate in problem solving activities and compete against clubs from other schools. More than 200 girls participate in these clubs, weekly.
