MVSC Works To Assists Those In Need
Vietnam Veteran Larry Bishop and his wife visited the Military and Veteran Success Center (MVSC) in need of financial assistance in order to avoid an eviction.  Lead Success Coach, Nisha sat with the family, assessed their need and developed a plan for support. Thanks to our partners at MOAA, the Bishop family received assistance needed for housing stability and were provided with support resources in their community.

“We don’t know what we would have done without you guys. The staff was outstanding and made me feel like they really cared and wanted to help us,” they said.

If you are interested in learning about MVSC services, contact the teams at the East and West centers at  480-384-9850 East / 480-384-9874 West.

Maricopa Community Colleges Logo

It’s an honor that U.S. veterans, active reservists, and family members of veterans are among our student body. Both active-duty military personnel and veterans often seek educational support and job training to transition from military service to civilian life, and many will start with a community college.

At Maricopa Community Colleges, services for military personnel and veterans are designed to offer the highest quality assistance. We have a long history of providing education and training, allowing you to enhance existing skills, gain new skills, and translate military training and experience into a rewarding career.

We have an established tradition of providing access to higher education – in other words, we are dedicated to serving those who serve.
