Rio Salado College
Student assistance fund is for Rio Salado College students who need immediate financial support as determined by a college committee comprised of donor or donor designee, another RSC employee, and the Counseling Faculty Chair. Funds are to pay for financial situations that may cause the student to drop-out of college which include, but are not limited to: rent, transportation, utilities, food, or other. Students may receive up to $300 through this emergency fund each semester - if additional funds are needed the committee will discuss and take action if appropriate. If student emergencies arise after hours a small amount (up to $200) can be provided to students at the discretion of the Counseling Faculty Chair. Students must meet the following eligibility requirements: -Student must communicate with the RSC Counseling Department to complete an application -Student must be officially enrolled in a minimum of three credit hours at Rio Salado College -Student must show picture ID and pass verification of enrollment.
