Mesa Community College
Funds are used to provide non-surgical periodontal therapy to those patients who would otherwise not be able to afford care. Each student will be allowed an equal share of distribution of funds for their patients' use, based on the amount of funds in the account and the number of current students Patient criteria: Patients who are in need of therapeutic services, other than routing maintenance and prevention. Patients who are not related to any current dental hygiene student in the Mesa Community College Dental Hygiene program. Operations: Funds may be used for general operations of the college Dental Hygiene program including program support, supplies, students' assistance to National Dental Hygiend meetings, purchasing class "gifts" for the program upon graduation and student emergency assistance. All expenditures myst be jointly authorized by the department Chair and clinical faculty.
