Scholarships: Student enrolled at MCC Must have participated in a significant service experience (over 100 hours, nomination letter must accompany appliation from organization that will validate students service) Incoming high school graduates need to demonstrate a significant service experience (over 100 hours, nomination letter must accompany application from organization that will validate students service) during high school Funds may be used for tuition, course fees, books and educational supplies a stipulated in the course syllabus Minimum GPA of 2.5 (high school or college) Final selection of award recipients shall be approved by a college committee consisting of at least three people from the Center for Community & Civic Engagement department. Operations: Funds may be used towards Instructor Grants to incorporate service into their curriculum. All expenditures must ve jointly authorized by the Center for Community & Civic Engagement director and supervisor. A thank you note should be submitted to the Development Office.
