To be eligible for this award, students must be enrolled in more than 6 credit hours and a GPA of 3.0. They must be an active member of a student organization that is affiliated with PC. Two recipients will be chosen with a preference of one female and one male. Additional criteria include: 1) Demonstrates excellence in student activities, leadership and academics; 2) Displays creativity and innovation 3) Incorporates diversity and community awareness; 4) Serves as a campus ambassador and role model to other students. To determine the recipients, an application process will take place followed by a review of applications and selection of recipients by a committee comprised of college faculty and staff. Distribution: Each recipient will receive a monetary award and a medal of accomplishment in conjunction with the annual URSA Awards Ceremony held at PC. If the URSA Awards cease to exist, the presentation should take place at a comparable ceremony as recommended by the Director of Alumni and Development.
